About Us

The Somali Takaful Insurance Association (STIA) is a non-profit, member-based organization established to unify, represent, and support the Takaful operators in Somalia. As the umbrella body of Islamic insurance (Takaful) operators in the country, STIA works to promote ethical, Shariah-compliant insurance practices, build industry capacity, and act as a collective voice in policy advocacy and regulation.
